The N160 Northgate Station is Sound Transit’s northern most light rail station. The project extended from the Maple Leaf Portal north to the vicinity of the Northgate Mall vicinity and included construction of the station, elevated guideway, intermodal transit facility, 455-stall parking garage plus 115 surface stalls, site improvements for two traction power sub-stations and two signal bungalows. These included screening, stormwater management systems, site restoration and related street improvements. The station includes a surface, mezzanine and a platform level which spans a city street and ties into the parking garage with a 140’ bridge.
