The Manchester Memorial Elementary School (MMES) project undertook a complex phased approach to transform the existing school into a modern, 75,000 sf educational facility. With meticulous planning and execution, the project involved the demolition of existing structures and the construction of new wings while ensuring minimal disruption to daily school operations. Phase 1 focused on constructing a new academic wing adjacent to the occupied school, followed by Phase 2, which involved further demolition and construction near the existing facility. Finally, Phase 3 saw the completion of the new school’s remaining components and site finishes. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
